How YBZ Works

Trustless escrow powered by immutable smart contracts. Code is law — and immutable code means unbreakable trust.

Deal Lifecycle

Every transaction on YBZ follows a transparent, automated escrow process.

Create Deal

Buyer initializes an escrow with ETH or stablecoins (USDT/USDC), defining terms, time windows, and an optional arbiter for dispute resolution.

Accept Deal

Seller reviews and accepts the deal within the accept window. Funds are automatically locked in the smart contract.

Submit Work

Seller delivers the work and submits a proof-of-delivery hash (IPFS) before the deadline — triggering the buyer's review period.

Resolution

Buyer confirms delivery, or raises a dispute. If unresolved, an arbiter steps in — and funds are automatically released based on the outcome.

Decentralized Arbitration

Fair and transparent dispute resolution powered by a network of trusted arbiters. Every decision is evidence-based and recorded on-chain for full accountability.

Arbitration Process

1

Dispute Raised

Either party may raise a dispute with verifiable evidence (IPFS hash) during the Accepted or Submitted state.

2

Arbiter Assignment

The system randomly assigns an active arbiter or uses the one pre-selected during deal creation.

3

Evidence Review

The arbiter reviews all evidence and renders a fair ruling based on the contract terms and proofs submitted.

4

Fund Release

Funds are automatically released according to the arbiter’s final ruling — fully transparent and irreversible.

Key Features

Cooldown Period

A 24-hour cooldown after work submission prevents impulsive or malicious disputes.

Transparent Process

All arbitration data, rulings, and evidence are immutably stored on-chain for public verification.

Fair Fees

Arbiter fees apply only when disputes occur (1% of total deal value).

Flexible Distribution

Arbiters can split funds proportionally between both parties when justified.

Built for Trust

No intermediaries. No frozen funds. No reversals. Just transparent, automated escrow powered by immutable code.
